When I learned about the importance of hydration at a Tony Robbins seminar, I realized that I needed to drink more water, I began buying bottled water at the grocery store and then started to have bottled water delivered every month to my home.

… And I’m FEELING GOOD!

I am sitting here listening to Michael Bublé sing ‘Feeling Good’ and I resonate and vibrate to each word, each beat as I am taken on a musical journey into my ‘right now’ reality! It is a gentle and easy flow into wonderful feelings and my vision of what a new day can bring. I was on the phone last week with my dear friend Nancy after I sent her this photo. When she received it she called laughing with a knowing of who I am and she said, “That’s my friend! When in deep water, you go kayaking …. metaphorically you are paddling with the flow and enjoying the ride.” That is how I feel today.

Do you have friends that you have known since you were young and stayed close with them? It sure is a blessing for me to be able to talk to a friend who has known me for so many years. We have been through the changes of growing into our 20′s and moving through our 30′s as we created our lives, our careers, our relationships and through it all we have been in each other’s lives with unconditional love. Now that does not mean we have not been at times brutally honest with each other or that we don’t disagree. We have. To me unconditional love of a friend simply means that we honor each other’s choices and support each other as we move through our lessons in life. This is a gift. She calls me her ‘essence’ friend and I think of her as my ‘soul’ sister. The value of talking life through with each other’s perspectives has been so valuable through the years.

As I started writing today, it was all about NEW LIFE. New Choices and following my inner feelings to know what choices to make. And then, it became clear that we all have this opportunity every day, every minute, every second. So why do we so often get ‘stuck’ in or stay in choices that did not work? Hmmmmmm… as I typed that sentence, my training said, “Donna, WHY is not a good question.” and immediately I moved into gratitude for my choices. As I look back over my life, I have so much to be grateful for. Even choices that may have been difficult lessons have been truly valuable to me.

Right now, as I sit here reflecting on my life, I look back with love and gratitude for all the moments that have brought me to where I am right here and right now. I look forward to the excitement of tomorrow and all of the tomorrow’s and the possibilities in front of me. Yes, memories and dreams. They are all part of the human experience.

AND…..

It is in each NOW moment, in each breath, in each opening of curiosity and each moment of gratitude that allows me to to be aware, to honor, to breath in the adventure that exists right now, right here in my soul.

The power, the wonder of this moment!
