The BENEFITS AND USES OF WHEATGRASS! Wheatgrass can be used in a variety of ways with unsurpassed results by any other whole food.
Of all the vegetables and grasses, wheatgrass offers the highest nutritional value with powerful detox results. Wheatgrass juice strengthens our cells, detoxifies our liver and organs, fights tumors, restores alkalinity to the blood and neutralizes toxins. Wheatgrass is extremely high in vitamins A and C, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, sulfur, magnesium, zinc, cobalt, protein, active enzymes, amino acids, iron, oxygen, chlorophyll and other nutrients that are easy to digest and also very high in B12!
Fights tumors and neutralizes toxins. Recent studies show that wheatgrass juice has a powerful ability to fight tumors without the usual toxicity of drugs that also inhibit cell-destroying agents. The many active compounds found in grass juice cleanse the blood and neutralize and digest toxins in our cells.
There are 4 Main Ways that Wheatgrass is USED.
The most common is to take the wheatgrass, run it through the wheatgrass juicer and drink at least 2 oz. each morning on an empty stomach.
When drinking wheatgrass it is best to drink it alone and away from all other foods and drinks to allow for maximum assimilation. It’s best to allow 20 minutes after drinking your wheatgrass before eating and drinking.
Wheatgrass can also be taken as an implant.
During a cleanse, you may want to do this once or twice a day. As a regular practice Hippocrates Health Institute recommends weekly enemas followed by a 4 oz wheatgrass rectal implant. I know it sounds a little weird at first but many say health starts in the colon. The implant is a powerful method of cleansing and nourishing the colon walls. Bypassing the stomach, the wheatgrass juice immediately replenishes the body with electrolytes and minerals via the hemorrhoidal vein and travels directly to the liver and bloodstream. If you restore health, remove blocks and allow your natural wellness, wheatgrass implants will be essential to your protocol. [/caption]
The easiest way to do an implant is with a 4 oz white bulb syringe. You can get one at any drug store. Try putting a little coconut oil on the tip and it will be a very easy process. And, as will all enemas and implants, place a towel on the floor and you may even want to get some flat Depends to lay on top of your towel. This way if there is any mess, you simply fold up your Depends and throw it out.
Remember, It is best to do your implant after an enema. One of the reasons for this is that the colon walls will be clean and make it very easy for the wheatgrass to be absorbed. Hold the wheatgrass in as long as you can.
For me, after a few weeks of this practice, I found that most times the 4 oz of wheatgrass gets absorbed and there is no discharge at all. Yahoo… that means my body is taking it in and using it!
Wheatgrass can also be used topically as a powerful and magical POULSTICE. The wheatgrass pulp, soaked in the juice, may be applied to the skin as a poultice for burns, wounds, cuts, bites or infections.
There are about as many uses for wheatgrass as you can imagine….
Wheatgrass can be used as a sinus cleanser, a douche, an eye wash, on a sunburn and it is wonderful for facials too!
According to William T. Jarvis, Ph.D. “The notion that wheatgrass can benefit serious disease sufferers was conceived by Ann Wigmore, a Boston area resident. Wigmore (1909-94) was born in Lithuania and raised by her grandmother who, according to Wigmore, gave her an unwavering confidence in the healing power of nature. She speculated that the enzymes found in raw wheatgrass were alive and could “detoxify” the body by oral ingestion and by enemas. Wheatgrass is prepared by sprouting wheat berries and growing them until they form chlorophyll. It was the chlorophyll in wheatgrass that enthused Wigmore. She called chlorophyll “the life blood of the planet.”
